“Vi har blivit  mer självmedvetna, hittat nya vinklar på saker och blivit mer medvetna om kroppsspråk. Vi har tränat på att lyssna aktivt, planera, vara fokuserad, vara medveten om den egna och motpartens status och stämning i samspelet med kund och kollega. Genom att våga/kunna göra de olika övningarna har vi ökat självförtroendet och kan släppa kanten och ge oss ut på lite djupare vatten och inse att det kanske inte är så farligt. Det var viktigt för oss att få konkret feedback och tips på vad vi gjorde bra och vad vi kan förbättra. Vi lärde oss gemensamma referensramar att använda gällande status och kroppsspråk. Vi fick en tydlig och enkel metod för att ge konstruktiv feedback till varandra. Vi lärde oss också att inte ta saker så allvarligt och förlåta fel. 
Utbildningen var bra, rolig och givande. Långt ifrån det vi är vana vid. Elin hade ett bra engagemang, och visade med sina skådespelarkollegor fantastiska egenskaper i rollspelen. “Fascinerande att det tog femton sekunder att gå från pinsam lek till “blodigt allvar” i kundmöten.” Utbildningen var trevligt gjord med fokus på att ingen ska känna sig förbisedd. “Elin and her collaborator carried out a very inspiring and thought provoking workshop, based on relatively simple exercises and a minimum of props. They managed to engage not only those of us who had a positive bias beforehand, but also the sceptics. Everybody who participated enjoyed the workshop very much. In a follow-up discussion it was particularly emphasized how well the importance of keeping an open mind when communicating and reciprocating new ideas was demonstrated with relatively simple means. We all felt that this was a bit of a revelation with obvious implications for our everyday scientific work. The workshop also had a very clear team building effect.”

“ I am the project manager of a development team at a high-tech company in Lund. We asked Elin to introduce the team to the ideas of improv at a kickoff for the team as a way for the team to learn and hopefully be able to use its wisdom in our work. We had the session a few months ago and I can see that it has had the following impact on the team:
· The experience was positive for some members and challenging for others, and the team learned more about each other through the experience. Now they know where the limit of the comfort zone is for everyone!
· The sessions were very different from anything that the team had experienced before and novelty added energy for this team. The impro session is often referred to as an energizer.
· Impro is playful and the session strengthened the fact that through playfulness one can learn important things. The team quite often makes references to some of the playful exercises and it’s become more acceptable to be playful at work.
· In the session the team experienced a safe zone where it was okay to ‘make a fool’ out of themselves and okay to fail, and this safe zone has been extended back at the office, it is clear that the team has an increased sense of safetey and trust.
In the coming months we will be focusing more on work requiring innovation and I expect the team will be able to draw even more from the learnings of improv. ”
